Grouper season has started! The gag grouper bite is as good as it can get, you can only keep two per boat this year but its better than nothing, this is a grouper you can catch on a six hour trip instead of having to spend the extra money to get out to the break where you catch your scamps and red groupers. Gag closes on June 26th so book your trip and get more bang for your buck! Scamp and red grouper remain open all year but a longer trip is usually needed to reach those species.
